For those of you keeping score at home, Louie is now off the chart—the chart being the distance between the two arms of this chair. He continues to surprise and delight. Instead of jumping into my lap like a regular little dog, he runs right up my body and into my face before doing those dog circles and plopping down on me.

Not at all, Frank. You an important source of pug information, among other things. But why were you blogging mere minutes after the ball dropped?
As is my New Year's tradition, I ring in the New Year alone in my family room, browsing blogs. I'm terribly lame.
