and, they're off!

I hit the ground running today, as Spring semester aught-five commenced. I was on campus for most of the day, and was able to complete all syllabi, make all copies, start to organize my Blackboard sites, chit chat with most of my colleagues, and take care of departmental business. I didn't make it to the rec center, though. I figure I can give myself a little grace period for figuring out a solid working (out) schedule.

I need to start work on what I hope will be a wicked fun conference presentation. All of the panelists will create audio essays and audio responses to stock questions. The respondent will craft an audio response, and a good-humored tech person will direct the whole presentation. At least it should break up the monotony of some of these panels.
