If any of you readers are psychologists, or psychoanalytic literary critics, maybe you can tell me if I'm trying to transfer responsibility from myself by using the royal we in my title. Just like I made my previous post all about me (relationally) while claiming that it was all about everyone else.

A student looking for a directed study told me he was interested in studying Emily Durkheim.

Ah, yes, and Emily Durkheim. I think I went to school with her. Medium size girl, brown hair, Alpha Phi dating a Sigma Chi, from Long Island? ;)
